Sat Night - Vita Luna @ Cable

Postby Seabass on Mon Feb 22, 2010 8:58 pm

No doubt one of my best nights in recent memory!

Never been to the club before and it was quality, well dark in the main room. Proper underground tip!

But the best bit was the music! Every DJ pitched it perfect. The resi's played wicked warm up.

Then Gorge came on the desks and started to really get proceedings underway with a wicked set.

Then it really got good. Alex Niggeman was the absolute muts! Properly one of my fav peak time sets I ever heard.

After that Ray Okpara played. I dig his tunes so was looking forward to it. I just love it when you get one of those late night DJ's who can really bring the night together, he kept it well twisted. Absolutly phat! I could of rolled to those grooves all night. Stayed till the end which unfortunatly was 6am as we still had another 2 hours till our train to the south. Then the train broke down for like an hour!...so basically the travel back was not so great! But worth it!

ah good to hear... i was nearly gonna go to that night, but was actually put off by the lineup.. it didn't really look that interesting from the outset... good to see i've been proved wrong...

i was at t-bar for the hypercolour night which was ok....

cable is a cool club, but they need to sort a lot of stuff out there... that there backroom is just a waste of space..

Who played up at the T-Bar?

Yeah the night was proper quality. I have been buying a lot of cuts by the guys who were playing so wanted to get down to it.

I didn't really bother with the bar. Room 1 was wicked. I thought the venue was pretty good all round tho. I like that it wasn't over done up and just a good place to party. Warehouse styleee! The system was way too quiet in the bar tho. So I stayed in the rave pit of room 1!

there's actually another room as you come in through the main entrance.. that first room is room 2.. then you walk through and you ahve the freezing cold bar area with the toilets up the mezzanine level.. then you can go through to the main room...

t-bar had Catz and Dogz aka 3 Channels on getphysical... they were pretty cool... just a bit of a cold atmosphere in there...

Errrr Yeah I remember the cold bar! But I think We walked in a different entrance. Coz that went straight into the main room. The smoking area was out the back of the Bar.

I know Catz and Dogs. Pity about the lack of a vibe. Keep meaning to check the T- Bar. Need a line up worth coming up for.
