CDJ400

I sold my CDj1000 (and an 800) so that i could buy 2 of these and i certainly don't regret it. I was going to buy another 1000 but when i saw these...

The jog wheel is smaller than the CD1000 but its more than adequate. Other features missing are the hot cues and the wave display. For me the only one I miss slightly is the wave display. I don't think they feel quite as well sturdy as the 1000s but tnat might be down to the size difference of the units. I've used them playing out and they were great.

Another plus is the pitch, feels much better than the pitch of 1000Mk2 (i.e. tighter) and the usb feature seems to work well whenever i have used it.

I would highly recommend these and for value for money (£450) these win over CDJ1000s (£780) - basically if you can live without hot cues, jog wheel size and the wave display - then save your cash and go for these.
